What multiple tooth implants involve
When you’re missing two or three teeth in different areas, there are two options:
- Individual implants, one per missing tooth, each with its own crown
- A partial denture, removable
You can chew, brush, and floss implants like natural teeth. They don’t put any pressure on the teeth around them, which means your healthy teeth stay healthy.
When multiple individual implants make sense
You’re a good candidate for multiple individual implants if:
You're missing two or three teeth in different positions (not all in a row).
You have enough bone to anchor each implant (the free CT scan will confirm).
You want the most natural feel and function possible.
You're a non-smoker, or willing to stop or significantly reduce while the implants heal.
If your missing teeth are all in a row, an implant-supported bridge makes more sense. It uses fewer implants to replace more teeth and costs less. Dr Andrew will talk through both options at the consultation.
What happens during treatment
Free consultation with Dr Andrew. You meet the dentist who'll be doing your implants. He looks at your mouth, listens to your situation, and explains your options.
Free CT scan. A 3D scan of your jaw shows the bone, the nerve positions, and exactly where each implant should go.
Treatment plan and accurate cost. You see the plan, the timing, and the price before you commit.
Implant placement. In many cases, Dr Andrew places implants the same day failing teeth come out. One surgery instead of two. Treatment time cut by at least three months.
Healing.The implants integrate with the bone over a few months. You have temporary teeth in place during this time.
Crown fitting. Digital scans (no impression goo) go to the technician. Your crowns are made and fitted to the implants.
Most cases take three to six months from start to finish.
