What All-on-4 actually is
All-on-4 is a method for replacing an entire arch of teeth (upper, lower, or both) using just four implants per arch.
Two implants go in near the front of the jaw. Two more go in at an angle towards the back, which uses the available bone more efficiently and often avoids the need for bone grafting. A bridge of replacement teeth is fitted across all four implants, either immediately as a temporary or after a healing period as the final prosthesis.
The result is a full set of teeth that look and function like your own. Fixed in place. They don’t come out. You brush and floss them like natural teeth.
This is different from an implant retained denture, which clicks onto two to four implants and is removable. All-on-4 is fixed and stays in.
What happens during All-on-4 treatment

Free CT scan. A 3D scan shows the bone, nerves, and exactly where the four implants should go.
Treatment plan and accurate cost. You see the plan, the timing, and the price. No surprises.
Digital smile design. A digital preview of how your new teeth will look. You see the design before any surgery happens.
Surgery day. Failing teeth out. Four implants placed using guided implant surgery for precision. A temporary fixed bridge fitted the same day.
Healing. The implants integrate with the bone over a few months. You wear the temporary bridge during this time.
Final teeth fitted. Once healing is complete, the final, definitive bridge of teeth is fitted onto the four implants.
For patients who are nervous about a full-arch procedure, IV sedation is available.
