What a single tooth implant is
A single tooth implant has two parts that work together. A titanium screw is placed into your jaw bone where the tooth used to be. After it integrates with the bone (usually a few months), a crown is attached on top. The crown is matched to the colour and shape of the teeth around it. You can eat, brush, and floss it like a natural tooth. With proper care, it lasts decades.
Who single tooth implants are for
You’re a good candidate if:
You've lost a tooth to decay, gum disease, an accident, or a failing root canal
The bone in your jaw is healthy enough to anchor an implant (the free CT scan confirms this)
You’re a non-smoker, or willing to stop or significantly reduce while the implant heals
You’re not happy with a bridge that files down healthy neighbouring teeth or a partial denture
If the bone has shrunk, bone grafting may be needed first. Done in-house, not referred elsewhere.
Single Teeth Process
We will call or message you to make your consultation appointment
Appointment 1 (free ct scan and assessment with opening offer)
At your consultation we will assess your suitability for dental implants and discuss your options, likely treatment duration and costs. If you are suitable and would like to go ahead we will take your CT scan and check to see if you have enough bone for implants.
Appointment 2
Place your implant, or if there is a failing tooth involved, remove it and place the implant into the socket. There is an option to have your tooth fitted at this appointment (same day tooth) if your bone volume and density are favourable.
Appointment 3
Review appointment to check healing, and fit the final tooth if this was not fitted at appointment 2.
